Varun, a well-known Ayurvedic herb, has diuretic qualities. It also works well to purify blood and support homeostasis, the stable and healthy state of a living thing. Constipation may be helped by Varun's laxative effects, which help to soften stools and promote bowel movement. It has also been demonstrated to be helpful in cases of gout due to its anti-inflammatory characteristics, which lower joint pain and inflammation. Applying a paste produced from Varun leaves to the abscess-affected area will reduce pain and irritation.
BENEFITS :
1. Urolithiasis :
Urolithiasis, often known as kidney stones, start in the urinary system. In Ayurveda, it is known as Mutrashmari. Renal calculi, sometimes referred to as mutrashmari, are a Vata-Kapha disorder that cause congestion in the Mutravaha Srotas (urinary system), or Sanga. Urinary stones are classed and managed in accordance with the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.Varun is a herb that helps to break up renal calculi and shrink the size of the stone. This is due to its Asmaribhedan (penetration) property. Varun also aids in its ejection because of its mutral (diuretic) character.
2. urinary tract infection:
Urinary tract infections are generally referred to as Mutrakcchra in Ayurveda. A mutra is gooey, while a krichra is painful. Mutrakcchra is the term used to describe dysuria and painful urinating. Varun helps to lessen the burning that is brought on by urinary tract infections. This is true due to its mutral (diuretic) effect. It increases urine output and reduces UTI symptoms, such as the burning sensation experienced while peeing.
3. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia :
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common cause of lower urinary tract discomfort in elderly men. In ayurveda, BPH is compared to vatasthila. In this case, the affected Vata accumulates between the rectum and the bladder. Vatashtila, or BPH, is a dense permanent solid glandular enlargement that is the outcome of this. Varun supports Vata balance and controls prostate gland hypertrophy. It assists in minimising symptoms like painful or frequent urination because of its mutral (diuretic) nature.
4.Loss of Appetite:
When included in the daily diet, Varun helps to increase appetite. Agnimandya (poor digestion), according to Ayurveda, is what causes appetite loss. It results from the aggravation of the Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas, which impairs proper meal digestion. This results in the stomach's inability to produce enough gastric juice, which decreases hunger. Varun increases hunger and stimulates the digestive system. Its Deepan (appetiser) feature is what causes this.
5. Anti-Wrinkle:
Dehydration, ageing, and dry skin all cause wrinkles. According to Ayurveda, it is caused by a Vata imbalance that has gotten worse. Varun's Snigdha (oily) nature helps to control wrinkles and raises the skin's moisture content. You can have glowing skin by applying a paste made from Varun bark and honey.
