Ridhi Vridhi :- A monopodium terrestrial orchid with tuberous roots, known as Ridhi Vridhi, can be found in the Western Himalaya at elevations of 1500–2800 meters. The 25–50 cm long, terete stem has four to many leaves that are long and acuminate and rounded at the base.
Thumma Seeds are a key component of Ayurvedic medicine. The compound formulation and its components by themselves have a variety of therapeutic benefits. Ridhi Vridhi Seeds appear to offer antioxidant and anti-aging qualities based on the characteristics mentioned in ancient literature. A stunning orchid called a thumma seed can be found in the Himalayas between the elevations of 1500 and 2500 meters, from Pakistan to Nepal. Plant is 30 to 50 cm tall and has an oblong, less tuberous stalk. Leaf coverage is uniform along the stem. There are 3–5 ovate–oblong, acuminate, sheathing leaves, up to 8–4 cm long. Large flowers are produced in 1-4 bunches. Bracts resemble leaves. Flowers are big, white, and green. Green sepals are ovate-lanceolate, recurved, 20–24 x 9–10 mm on the dorsal side and falcate lance–shaped, spreading, 23–28 x 6-7 mm on the lateral side. Seeds of Ridhi Vridhi.
White, crescent-shaped, recurved, attached to the dorsal sepal, and with minute cilia on the borders are the petals. labellum whitish to yellowish-green, 3-lobed, with a base that is undivided and up to 10 mm long; the middle lobe is linear-acuminate, 20-30 x 2.5 mm; front lobes Approximately 10, partially divided, fine fringes up to 20 mm long, 25–30 mm long, and considerably divergent on the outer margin. Green, 6 cm long, flexuous, and a little bit wider at the apex and base. One of the largest and least uncommon flowers among habaneras. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is employed.
