The scented plant known as jasmine is found in tropical and subtropical climates all over the world. It belongs to the Oleaceae family of plants and is cultivated for its fragrant white, yellow, or pink flowers.
There are over 200 species of jasmine, which is also known as jessamine. True jasmines typically have branches that ascend without tendrils.
